Hope

Hope

“For You, O Lord, do I hope; You will answer, O Lord my God.” Psalm 38:15

“The significant problems we face in life cannot be solved at the level of thinking that created them.” Albert Einstein.

Aptly put and there’s a plan and the plan is  having hope that’s in the Word of God. This recovery plan is to help many to be renewed in the spirit of their minds, thus helping them to make better life choices, and breaking the cycle of abuse in their lives. You have the cure -your mind to stop domestic violence in your life, and there is hope for you, and the hope is the Word of God. Let me stop here and speak briefly about hope.

Biblical hope is not hoping that your favorite football team will go to the Super Bowl, or that you will win the lottery, which amounts to mathematical probabilities. The biblical definition of hope is “confident expectation.” Hope is like an anchor it gives stability, it has the ability to hold, or to be held fast by something. Hope is like an anchor for the soul and Christ Jesus is that Anchor, there’s no uncertainties, no failure in Him, He is what is true.

Therefore, hope is a firm assurance in Jesus Christ regarding those things that you have before Him that He will bring it to pass (Romans 8:24-25; Heb. 6: 19-20, 11:1, 7). KJV Bible.  (2)

You don’t see how it’s going to happen, and things are looking bleak and dismal at best; but you believe,  and  God has heard your prayer and He  is going to intervene on your behalf.

The bible tells us that those who trust in the Lord Jesus will be helped and they will not be confounded, or put to shame because they are trusting in the Lord their God (Isaiah 49:23; Psalm 28:7). The people who have this type of biblical hope and trust in God have the confidence of knowing that God will help them (Jeremiah 29:11). Once you grasp that the things you are asking the Lord for will happen then your hope produces joy and peace in your soul. Romans 12:12, 15:13.

Again, there is hope for you, and a cure for this preventable social ill.  This cure  is by renewing the spirit of your mind from the inside out from dead works to the new life in the Word of God.

  1. So glad to see you use the Bible and encourage people to renew their mind to The Word of God. Life is so full and joyful when we have understanding from God’s Holy
    Word. Nothing is impossible when
we aim to do His will, His way.
    Thank you for your website.

    • Hello friend, I’m so excited, and delighted to hear from you. Sorry that’s it’s taken so long to respond you. I’ve had problems accessing my site. I thank you very much for your encouragement. It’s so good to know that people still want to heard from the Word of God which is able to give us real life, in this world, and for the next. You know it’s the Word of God that will stand when all else will fail. I’ve been reading from the book of Proverbs and it is my endeavor to post a rhema word(s) from proverb every day this month, so please stay alert to hear what the Lord is saying….Blessing from Num.6:24
